One Great Day Event 2018

www.theonegreatday.com

The Paisley Centre is one of 140 shopping centres across the UK taking part in ‘One Great Day’ on 16th June 2018. One Great Day is a series of family and community charity events being held throughout the month of June to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, and other locally based children’s health charities. Participating shopping centres will provide a special event or family fun day for local communities across the UK, whilst raising money for a number of great causes.

One Great Day was established in 2014 and has so far raised over £400,000 for 93 different children’s charities along with Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. One Great Day now covers over 50 million square feet of retail space across the United Kingdom, from Folkestone to Aberdeen and nearly everywhere in-between!

The Paisley Centre will be raising money for Kibble, which provides specialist services for children and young people affected by adversity or trauma. Every young person is valued, supported and respected. They aim to empower young lives, giving young people a voice, and the care, education, skills and confidence to lead positive, healthy and fulfilled lives. We’ll also be raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital, with half of our proceeds going to Kibble and half to Great Ormond Street Hospital

Head along to our One Great Day event on 16th June 2018 between 11am – 4pm at the centre where kids will be able to get their faces painted for FREE, get their picture taken with our special selfie boards and get a free balloon!

Michal Noe, Trustee of One Great Day, said: “We are thrilled to have The Paisley Centre as one of 140 shopping centres taking part this year, helping so many children’s health charities across the country. We are very grateful to CBRE, Montague Evans and Savills, our official corporate partners, for making this initiative possible.”
